Due to illness, The Village at Litchfield Park board meeting and annual meeting for tonight May 8, 2019 has been canceled.

Both meetings will be re-scheduled and once the new date is confirmed notice will be sent out to the membership.

US MARINE CORPS URBAN OPERATIONS

UPDATE: The US Marine Urban Exercise scheduled for Monday, March 25th, has been slipped 24 hours to Tuesday, March 26th, 7 to 11 p.m.

There will be a Marine Urban Exercise tonight, March 25, 2019 beginning at 7 p.m. and lasting until 11 p.m.  The center of focus is 43rd Avenue and Camelback Road, but will involve the Phoenix Metro area and Litchfield Park at times.  The exercise will include aircraft and helicopters.

Green Waste Spring Clean Up Day

The 19th Annual Green Waste Spring Clean Up Day will be on Monday, April 15, 2019. Public Works will be collecting green waste only, including tree trimmings, small branches, garden prunings, bushes, and shrubs.

Litchfield Park residents may begin placing green waste at their curbside on Friday, April 12, 2019 after 3pm. Please do not put green waste in trash bags. Please bundle neatly at the end of the driveway and do not block the sidewalk. Please place your waste by the date and time specified to avoid non-collection. Questions and concerns should be directed to Public Works at 623-935-1066.



No trash service on January 21, 2019

Due to the Martin Luther King Day Holiday, there will be no trash service on Monday, January 21, 2019. Service during the week will be pushed back one day, i.e. Monday service on Tuesday.

Special Pricing for Fruit Removal

The City of Litchfield Park and West Coast Arborists are combining efforts for interested residents to obtain an optional competitive rate to have fruit removed from their trees. The use of this service and contractor is optional for the residents and not required. If you would like to participate, the scheduled fruit removal will be in January, 2019. The special pricing is for the residents of the City of Litchfield Park only.

If you have fruit tree(s) that require removal of fruit and would like obtain a free estimate to participate, please send the following information via email to works@litchfield-park.org. This information will be forwarded to West Coast Arborists who will be responding to each emailed request.

CITY COUNCIL VOTING TONIGHT ON APPROVAL/DENIAL OF APARTMENTS AT VILLAGE PARKWAY/LITCHFIELD ROAD

The City Council will be meeting Wednesday, December 19th at 6:00 PM at Litchfield Elementary School Cafeteria. Approval/Denial of the proposed apartments at Village Parkway and Litchfield Road will be on the agenda.

WASTE MANAGEMENT HOLIDAY SCHEDULE

Due to the Christmas Holiday, there will be no trash service on Tuesday, December 25, 2018. Service during the week will be pushed back one day, i.e. Tuesday service on Wednesday.

The coverage is voluntary and available at affordable monthly or annual prices. This program is completely optional and voluntary. If you have received a letter of introduction from the City, take some time to read the information concerning the program and decide for yourself if you believe this program will be of benefit to you. As the letter explains, you can discontinue the program at any time.
